By installing the application on your device and/or by accessing the application, you accept without any reservations all these TOU and you agree to comply to its obligations to your responsibility.
The TOU express the entire agreement between you and VIRAX applicable to your use of the application. VIRAX reserves the right to modify these TOU by update them at any time. The applicable version of the TOU is the one that is in place at the time of your connection and use of the application. It is recommended to consult this page often in order to get acquainted with the current TOU when you use the application.
Article 2 – Purpose & Function of the application
The application allows you to:
- Collect data on the last 50 crimping
- Access the counter of the total number of crimping made by the machine
- Access the counter of the remaining number of crimping before maintenance
- Access a daily counter that the user can reset to zero.
- Create job site reports including company details, customer details, crimping made by the machine, photos of the job site and comments.
- Customize the machine: Rename the machine, adjust light density of the LED ring, adjust the remaining time before stand-by mode and before shutting down.
- Seek compatibility between Virax products (jaws and inserts) and the various existing fitting systems on the market.
Any processing or use of personal data in the App will only be for the purposes stated in this Terms of Use and to extent necessary to achieve the respective purposes.
Article 3 – Access the Application
In order to access the Application, you must have a mobile device and an access to an Internet network. The Application is downloadable for free on « Apple Store » and « Google Play Store » on the following devices:
- Apple® Iphone® mobile phone with iOS operating system. iOS 10.0 minimum is required.
- A mobile phone with Android® operating system. Android® Marshmallow (API 24) minimum is required.
The version of the application can be updated from time to time in order to add new functionalities and features. You agree as you use the Application to give true information, as accurate and as complete as possible.
Article 4 – License to use
VIRAX grants you a personal right of use of the Application and its content. This right is non-exclusive, revocable, non-assignable, non-transferable, available worldwide and free. For the single use of the application and for no other purposes. It is strictly forbidden to access and/or use and/or attempt to access or use the source code and objects of the Application.
Except the rights granted by the current TOU, you do not acquire any right of intellectual property on the application or its content.
Article 5 – Personal Data
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our “Privacy Policy – Data Protection”
The data we collect during the time you use the Application are:
- The serial number of the machines that are connected to “VIR-APP”
- Information regarding the use of VIRAX machines connected to “VIR-APP”
- Information filled out on the “Job Site Report” if you authorized data sharing:

o Phone Number
We use these data to show the user the evaluations of the work carried out.

Article 6 – Intellectual Property
French, European and international legislation on copyright and intellectual property apply to the entire content of the Application. Every reproduction and representation rights related to the Application are reserved by VIRAX, including any graphic, iconographic and photographic representation, regardless of the territory where they are protected and if there has been a deposit of these rights or not.
Any reproduction and/or representation of all or parts of the Application, regardless of the support, including any commercial name, brand, logo, domain name and any other distinctive sign is strictly forbidden and shall be considered a counterfeit punished by the code of intellectual property.
Article 7 – Application availability
The Application is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, in view of the complexity of the network and the influx of users at certain times of day, VIRAX can’t assure a guaranteed uninterrupted service and will not be held liable for the event of temporary impossibility of access of wholly or in part of the Application.
No compensation right will be granted under this paragraph.
VIRAX reserves the right to cease without notice, compensation and at its sole discretion, temporarily or definitively, to provide wholly or part of the services and functions of the Application.
Article 8 – Limitation of Liability – Absence of Guarantee
VIRAX is committed to implement whatever means necessary to ensure access to the Application. VIRAX uses technical and organizational security measures in order to protect the personal data of users against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorized persons.
Generally, you accept and acknowledge that your use of the Application, including the information you provide, are made under your only and whole responsibility.
By using the Application, you agree to not act in a harmful manner or to cause harm to the image, interests or rights of VIRAX, to damage or make the Application inoperative.
VIRAX shall not be held responsible for and shall not be held to compensate you for the direct or indirect damage resulting from the unavailability of the Application.
VIRAX shall not be held responsible for any damage resulting the loss, alteration or any fraudulent use of data, for the accidental transmission of viruses or other harmful elements, for the attitude, behavior from other persons.
VIRAX shall not incur any liability through (i) the impossibility to access the Application, (ii) a misuse of the Application, (iii) the overloading of the Internet network, (iv) potential dysfunctions that may occur on your devices, (v) in any event of “Force majeure” or any other event beyond its control.
Article 9 – Applicable law - Disputes
The Following TOU are subject to French Law.
Any dispute regarding the Application or the interpretation of the herein TOU will be referred to the Commercial Court of Reims, France.
